Cotgrave
Cotgrave Leisure Centre
Facilities at the centre include a swimming pool, gym, fitness
classes and sports pitches. Activities are organised for children
during school holidays, and more

Play Areas/Sports Pitches
The Council has four play areas at Ring Leas, The Green, Grassmere
and Broadmeer. Each of these is locked overnight so as to reduce
antisocial activities there. Also on the Green there are 2 teen
shelters. March 2011 saw the official opening of Cotgrave's Sports Space
at the site of the former tennis courts.
It also owns the football and rugby pitches which are situated behind
the Leisure Centre, as well as the pitches and pavilion at the Arthur
Ridley Sportsground off Stragglethorpe Lane. The latter is let to
Cotgrave Colts on a sole use basis. Outside the hours of Colts usage
the sportsground and pavilion is available for hire at a daily hire rate
of £60.
Security
Cotgrave Town Council has 3 CCTV cameras located on the Shopping Centre
with monitoring equipment at the Leisure Centre.

The library at Cotgrave is run by Nottinghamshire County Council,

Cotgrave is within the Borough of Rushcliffe, and their Recycling
2 Go web site explains the arrangements for refuse collection
in the town. There is also a list
of recycling sites and household waste recycling centres or tips.

Snow Warden
Cotgrave's Snow Warden is Councillor Bryan Tansley.
During periods of exceptionally adverse conditions, it is the Snow
Warden's responsibility to provide information to the County Council.
His main objective is to report on and assist where necessary with major
problems on minor roads and routes leading to Cotgrave.
